I’m just curious for you experienced power guys - how much power my car might be making. I will dyno it eventually but just curious for a rough estimate.

2015 Mustang GT
3.15 A6 car
JLT CAI
Stock intake and exhaust manifolds
Gibson catback exhaust
Lund FF tune on E85

My goal is to be right around 500 crank HP. My next mods in the plans are GT350 manifold and LU47s. Where do you think I’d be at currently?

I bet with the injectors and gt350 manifold you'd be right around 500 at the crank.

As far as where you are now, I'd guess 465-470 crank hp.

I would think this sounds about right then. I should be getting something extra with the E85. Hell, it sure feels faster.

That would put me around 488-494hp assuming a 15% drivetrain loss. I don't know what the drivetrain loss on the autos. I only know that the manuals tend to make a little more.

I would bet with a 350 manifold and injectors, that might net me 430whp, so just over 500 crank hp?

It'll be hard for you to know for sure since you can't dyno the car in a 1:1 gear.

350 IM + injectors and E85 should be ~435-440 whp. I've seen quite a few '15 GT IM + headers & E85 dyno charts hit that mark or more, so the GT350 IM & stock headers should get you thereabouts.

IMO get the '18 IM instead and the money saved buy some other goodies..
500 crank is easy to hit.. Lots of threads on this showing that the '18 mani is equally as good as the GT350 mani

I would get O/R LTH (if your state allows)
2018 mani and injectors, and a CAI

All this I think should put you close to 450-460whp.

Mods is my sig. I was at 416 rwhp on e85. I doubt you are close to 410 with your current set up. I plan an redynoing with a PBD tune in the next few months to see the difference.

Which gear? You don't have a 1:1 so it'll read lower if you dyno in 4th. Actual whp for you should be 430+, even Mustang dyno.

True,

I was just showing a comparison for an auto, since the original poster had an A6 and not the manual.

So with my 2015 GT A6 with 3.55 gears, this was my dyno with a JLT and tune, non E85 at the time. It is a dynojet, SAE corrected with a smoothing of 5. The peak rwhp was 416.5 and rwtq was 38Xish. I don't know if his dyno is a happy or sad dyno. But all my modding was done by his shop and this dyno.

Now with the GT350, full exhaust, E85 tune and the absolute best mod to an auto, at least on the A6....a Circle D 4c tq converter. You want to feel like an A10 on the 18GT, put one of these on. In addition, someone mentioned the CJ intake, which from the testing I have seen, is superior to the GT350 IM, at least on the auto. AED did testing and tuning of the CJ vs GT 350 on their 16 auto. Found it to make more power across the rpm range and pulled harder on the track, running consistent .2 and 2 mph faster. Just something to consider but I think you have to drop the motor or change the hood.

Anyway, my current dyno with all mods in my signature. Peak was 453.6rwhp/400rwtq SAE.

Absolutely. Just know that my stock converter failed, with only 16000 miles on it. The stator vanes in the stock converter and the transmission oil pump $hit themselves, so I had the option of either replacing it with a stock converter or going aftermarket. Go big or go home! Total cost was $1700, that was $1200 for the converter, $100 for a pump and $400 for labor. I am used to it now but originally, it felt like I dropped 200lbs from the car and acceleration is night and day. I wish I had 3.15 gears now actually.
