Hi,
I'm new to this forum and it looks like an awesome place! I have a 2015 Mustang EcoBoost with the Hood Ajar warning light and random alarm problems. I've done the jumper wire to isolate the issue, that didn't cause the light to go out. I see a good ground from the black/green wire but never see anything from the blue/orange wire. I thought the wires seemed brittle so I replaced the wire assembly, Motorcraft - (WPT1243).

Extremely frustrated, and I could really use some advice on what to do next would be greatly appreciated! Please tell me someone else has seen this before and I'm not losing it.

Thanks,

The hood when opened and ready to close should be dropped from a height of a minimum of 8” drop for it to close properly.

If you replaced the harness and are still getting the warning, then the hood latch needs to be checked.
