Handbrake sensitive??

Hey I've tried doing some research but I can't really find anything. I'm having this problem that my handbrake or handbrake sensor is so sensivitve that the handbrake light pops up on the dash frequently. If I lift up the handbrake just a tiny bit, to the point that it doesn't even click once, the handbrake light pops up on the dash. Anyone else having this problem? If I push down the handbrake it goes up a bit on its own and sometimes the light comes on again.

I have had the same problem since i got the car. I will mess around with it this weekend, tired of that light popping up!

I just had mine fixed. I was at the dealer getting an oil change and asked them to adjust the hand-brake cable while they had the car on the lift. If I wasn't due for service, I would've done the adjustment myself. Good luck with the fix, it's pretty simple.

I had the same problem. Took it to the dealer for adjustment.
