Avery SW900, like most modern wraps is self-healing. If you get hazing or swirl marks in it you run over it lightly with a heat gun and it just magically smoothes out. Very easy to clean. I'm sitting in a parking lot leaning against a car we wrapped a few years ago right now, same color and it looks like it's brand new paint.

I am not doing a clear bra or anything like that. We always consider vinyl a consumable. Even beating on it with regular track days it'll look good three to five years later.

Ultimately I'm just not one of those guys who goes crazy with every tiny little scratch on the car. I bought it to beat on it so it's going to get some nicks and scratches and I'm okay with that.

I know this is a GT350 forum but would you mind telling us a bit about that miata? what are you using it for (looks like auto-x) and some basic info on the setup. That's a handsome little bugger and I'm considering building something similar. Thanks if you can.

Besides being a wheel manufacturer, we are one of the worlds leading Miata performance specialists. The orange car pictured is a 2016+ "ND" chassis Miata. We call it Beaker. In a past life it was prepped for HPDE with the top removed and Blackbird Fabworx GT3 roll bar installed. It's now been converted to SCCA STR autocross spec. It's currently in Lincoln. NE at SCCA Solo nationals where it's one of the favorites to win the class. STR is probably the most popular class with about 100 entries this year. The ND is surprisingly quick little car. Fun, cheap, fast.

A little old...but as a DYIer - I'm curious what was done on the Mustang to tuck the wrap under the rubber trim of the quarter glass. I don't want to bugger up the rubber by prying on it too much - it seems pretty stiff.

No idea. You would have to ask a top tier vinyl installer. I'm sure there are countless tricks of the trade.
