WELL... here is some candy to help you cope :D:D
Any pics of one of these installed with a view inside the car so that we can see how much lower in the shifter housing it will sit?

Yea any additional info on the install? Does the transmission need to come down for this install?
To be clear, the same as with the MT82, TR6060, etc, the TR3160 in the GT350 needs to tip down at the rear in order to fit your hands up above the transmission. The transmission crossmember is removed and the back of the transmission is slowly lowered down a few inches. The transmission does not come out or get removed - just tilted down a little for the shifter install. It then goes back up and the transmission is attached and in the same position as original.

Here I am wanting this so bad but I promised myself I wasn't going to turn a wrench on this car.
Life is too short. This is a great car. It deserves a great shifter.

The shifter ends up in pretty much the same position as before. Here are some shots of when mine went in.

You guys are gonna love this mechanical masterpiece!

Epiphany,

Thanks for the pics. Slightly off topic, but why does your steering wheel have the red center accent, I though that was only the Rs, did you swap or am I mistaken?

Back on topic, very much looking forward to receiving the shifter!

You can buy one from a bunch of different places, CJ pony parts sells them. Pretty reasonable, only about 320-400$ if memory serves me correct

The GT350 shifter doesn't use the bridge that the Race-Spec does as it uses a traditional semi-remote shifter rear mount. George will have a detailed video up that will walk you through the install just as his other shifters have.

This shifter is NOT on our site yet. Don't mistake the MT82 for the Shelby trans. Its a Tremec 3160.,

You can only order on the phone at this point in time.,

George
