Has anyone "upgraded" from a regular GT radiator to a PP or GT350 radiator? The PP and GT350 are the same which have about a 1/2" thicker core and hold about 0.6 quart more fluid than the GT. Just wondering if it would be worth it. I know Mishimoto makes one but I believe it is too thick because of my turbo placement.

Wow, 106 views and not a single review. I guess this isn't a popular upgrade.

If you are having temp issues, it certainly couldn't hurt. I have a PP, so haven't done the swap. I'm sure somebody has done it.

Not having any heating issues, just thinking it could help out, I already have the Reische 170 stat.

If it hasn't sold by mid February or so, its going 8.90 this year!!!
I have already started gathering up parts.
The new radiator wouldn't help with IAT's :( just help manage engine temps.

Stock coolant with one bottle of water wetter (not sure if it actually does anything) but on a 70 degree day it runs 198ish head temp just normal driving.

Before the Paxton, I was seeing temps that maxed in the low-mid 190's, but that was on hot days and in traffic. Once the fans kick, it cools back down quickly to around 180ish. I have the 170 tstat as well. Once I finish the blower install I'll see what the CHT's go to.
