Travelling behind a sprinter van, he flicked up a big stone.... didn’t see it, and I wasn’t that close, but it got me all the same..:)

Bugger. Almost as bad as the direct damage to tyres, wheels and suspension from the potholes, is the quantity of aggregate all over the roads that comes out of the holes.

Dunno, but I’ve just booked an autoglass visit online, and they recon they can fix it on Friday....

Couldn’t complete the order cos it wouldn’t let me pay my excess, but I’ll ring em tomorrow and see what the crack is...... see what I did there:D:D

I feel your pain. It was me that posted up a few weeks ago on this and I still have not got it done. Spoke to windscreen people on Friday being national windscreens and they are waiting my insurers to authorise as its over £1500. I’m hoping I can get it sorted this week.

Well I'm hoping that mine is now getting resolved ! After calling National Windscreens who are my insurers approved installers and me chasing my insurers to get their finger out, I received a text to say call to sort out.

Have now paid them the excess as they need the payment BEFORE they can order a DEALER ONLY PART, which is what I told them 3 weeks ago. This takes 3-5 days to get in and then they will call to book the car in and it needs to go to their workshop as they cannot do it at my home or work address - Basically these monkeys have never fitted a Mustang Screen

So fingers crossed it will be sorted next week

Just keeping my fingers crossed and will update soon.

They sound full of shit mate...

Autoglass are fitting the screen at my home....

I don’t want to put the mockers on it, but the last time I had to use National was on the wife’s old Carina... they made a right cock up, scratched all around the aperture, and then the roof started to go rusty:rant::rant:

Ouch, that's never good. As crap as it is needing a new windscreen, I'd prefer a big stone to get the windscreen than the bodywork though!
