Went out for dinner with the family to the pub we have our Mustang meets at (this place is about 1.25 hrs drive from Goodwood)...........and who do we meet there?

Weird that there are no hood vents on the yellow GT. looks better to me.

A number of things are different overhere...
- No hood vents on GT (not availble as option neither, pedestrian regulations)
- white taillight lenses (amber turnsignals) - No sequential - only 2 brake lights
- No TRI-Bar DRLs in front !! The LED's are not even present.
- Dumbo mirrors (better if you ask me)
- No NAV shark fin on the roof.
- Chrome bezel around windows with euro custom pack (part of LE pack in US)
- No Sync 3 in 2016 models. (not compatible with data network and translation issues in non ENG countries)
- Faux gas cap badges in the rear decklid.
- Always ugly ACC lower grill because of block heater on EU cars...

Should I go on ?

All things some EU drivers will be looking to swap...

Thanks for the kind comments, guys.

As for the interior of the GT350R, sadly only this one. The windows were up and there was lots of reflection, so you get to see my friend better than you do the interior :headbonk:

Oh man, I am so jealous you got to meet Dave Pericak, with a photo in front of the Ford GT no less!!

I've got some pictures I'll upload in a bit. If I didn't have my friends with me, I would have stayed longer and hunted down the GT350R. I only got to see it on the hill climb.

i did send the mustang team a question, the most important (i thought) at this time.

are there any plans to sell the GT350R in the UK......they replied......it was a no :(

Ahhh...you can bet that will always be a no until PR actually announces it. Maybe if you show enough demand they might convince the bean counters.

One of those moments I'll cherish forever.

After the event, there are sooooo many things I'd have liked to have talked to him about, but we were both rather awestruck.

At least I managed to get in the cheeky "what's coming next" after he said they'd keep "rolling out these special Mustangs one after the other"......even if I knew he wouldn't tell me :headbonk:
