north of 25. My insurance company told me that they wouldn't insure me if I was south of 25.

The problem will be premium plus for now, 400+ horses are enough.

im not even using all those horses as im still doing engine break-in. Havent gone above 4000 revs yet lol

Insurance are a joke, being under 25is the reason I haven't got a V8. Because 3.5k a year is absurd to insure on :(!

I think the 25 thing is BS. I doubt you will see much of a change when you cross 25 it will still be expensive and then adding modifications will bump it up too. I only saw a considerable drop after 30 and even now it's still expensive!

Well under 25 you have young persons excess anda couple of other things in there as well, I can try run some quotes and see what I come back as a 2 5year old. I did it on mine just to test, and I came out at like £403 for the EB which is half down, hoping that may work on a V8 but who knows :lol:

Thankfully! My sister wants to be insured on it so dodged a major bullet there. :lol:

For me adding my brother brought the quote down by over a £130.

Compared to original quote of 1062 with all mods, adding my brother and father along with adding protected no claims caused it to jump by a whooping £8.

Being under 25 you get silly quotes and even more silly compulsory excess'

It's aids, hate it, i'll just insure the family on it (and have done) mess around with all the drivers until I find the cheapest amalgamation of it all :headbonk:
