I'm sure the SC would be an issue. I purchased a Ford Plan not long before my 3 year part of the warranty expired. They told me if I purchased it after the 3 year base it would have to be inspected by a dealer but as I was under that my car didn't require the inspection. Not sure if anyone else has ever heard of this or perhaps its Canadian thing?
Anyways I thought I'd mention it as the OP's car is out of the 3 year base warranty now of course.
