Hmm. Grabber was going to be one year only on the GT350 and will probably be desirable down the line due to its heritage and rarity.

Still no confirmation on what Leadfoot looks like. I was hoping someone would have a picture of a speedform from the launch when they put all the colors on the wall for the journalists to see.
I just posted a picture of what Leadfoot looks like in this thread on page 2....

Its on a 2018 F-150, and no its not lithium or stealth gray. Leadfoot will be available on the 2018 F-150 as well. There's even a thread titled "Lead Foot Gray" that's been going for a while that has quite a few pics of this truck as well as a couple videos.

Still no Automatic available nah kill it off. Get in the real world Ford you are the only ones not offering the top sports car without an automatic. NO more excuses
2018 is being built identical to the 16/17, no reason to introduce a new gearbox

I'm surprised Ford Performance didn't give the 2018 GT350 the updated rear. During the mid-cycle refresh of the Gen5 Camaro the ZL1 kept the same front, but got the new rear. Ford did the same with the GT500 between 10-12 and 13-14. I guess technically the removal of the grill in the 13-14 GT500 was a minor change to the front.

As for the interior I'm not sure why they couldn't have offered the digital dash option and some of the minor cosmetic tweaks. It seems like this is more a reaction to not having the next Ford Performance Mustang ready in time then responding to market demand for the GT350.

Why would they mess with perfection? I love the way it is. I myself wish they would of ended gt350 production after 17.

Both the front and rear fascias are unique to the GT350 and also are specifically designed for aero, both front and rear with the coolers especially. The 2018 carry over definitely reminded me of how GM kept the ZL1 09 optimized front end. But frankly I'm happy Ford is just carrying it over.

I'm happy it's staying on for another year just disappointed no effort was put into improving it. Heck at the very least some of the interior improvements could have been offered.

Why would anybody want improvements made on the '18 when they own a '16-'17? Wouldn't that further devalue the car you already have?

Because I didn't buy my car as an investment. I bought it to drive and enjoy it. Continual improvement is a good thing.

If you are looking at a car as an investment, don't look at new cars. You've got to buy the car at the bottom of its depreciation.

Neither did I. But to wish improvement for the very next MY? You don't want a grace period lol.

That gray is offal. It looks like ford forgot to put the color on after the primar and just clear coated it.

As for ford being late and not announcing the GT350 until now. I wonder if the test mules possible GT500 running around was put on the back-burner due to the high power Dodge Demon and Ford's car not having the power to compete
