G3 kit. On the same pulley the G3 outperforms the G2.

Don't waste your money on the G2. Get the G3X, 120mm, BAP, 1000cc injector.
I don't think I'll be going x this car is my daily and an mt82 car. gt500 injectors and bap is what I'm getting just can't decide on G2 or G3 with my goal being 700whp

I personally would go with the g3 because there is more headroom for power.

According to graphs posted on this forum and internet that I’ve seen it’s more of ~40 whp difference between the G3 and G2. You don’t need the G3X for sure if staying 93. I say go G3 but you’re choice. You will probably fall short of 700whp though either way. More around ~680 w/ G3 and less on G2. Still pretty good.

anything 650+ I'd be happy honestly, 15whp is just what the guy told me over the phone from ess I didn't see any dyno comparisons. 40whp would be huge difference up top. I'll prob end up with G3 just so I don't regret the purchase a month from now and 120mm.

You should not shoot for 700whp on pump 93. Shoot for 650whp and be surprised if you get a little higher. You can skip X for that stage, but at least do G3.

Here’s where I get a little confused. ESS says on a gen3 running 91 pump you should run a 125 pulley. So a G2 is smaller than a G3 and would flow less air given the same pulley and engine RPM. So why couldn’t a person run a 120 or even a 115 on the G2 to spin it faster, would that not equal a G3 with a 125?

Maybe I just don’t understand it, never done any kind of FI before except for a factory turbo.

you're limited by octane, car will get knock and pull timing with smaller pulley. 120mm pulley 93 octane and a bap is the way to go.

I ended up getting the G3 kit, rn I don't need more power but it's 1200 to upgrade the blower down the road. I'd rather have a bigger blower that's barely breaking a sweat to make high 600whp.

No I realize the octane limits what you can do I get that part. I guess I am just looking at the amount of air the blower is jamming into the intake. The volume with a G2 would be less than a G3 ( same pulley) but if you dropped a pulley size on the G2 it would be close to the same volume as a G2 . So that is where I get confused. I realize the fuel system and octane will prevent a major pulley down.
