Yes, the onboard widebands sense what e content is in the fuel and adjust afr accordingly
What about timing though? Cause that’s the biggest perk of running ethanol

Timing is a little lower for security. It still made 740 on the 8.5 pulley on e54 and 680 on 91. However the ecu can advance timing if it does not see knock. So what we did was set a lower timing max and then added a cap to how much timing could be added.

Ahhh okay. I’ve always been told no flex by Lund. It could also be different though considering e54 and full e85. My car has a fuel system and e85 5 miles from my house so I’ll be straight e85 no matter what

Make sure you test it each time because pump E85 can actually be as low as E50.

I’ve been running these pumps for 2 years and on this car the last year. Always e80 and up. I got lucky being this close to 2 good stations. Then there’s 2 more not even 20 minutes away if they’re ever off

Mine will be tuned by Lund but on e85

Someone was able to do like an e54 tune or something but haven’t seen flex. They’ll give you a tune for both e85 and 93 just haven’t seen flex
Copy, that would work. Thanks

Anyone have one of these kits tuned by Lund? A gen 2 running 91/93 preferably. I would like to hear about your experience
I am tuned by Lund on 93 6r80 car on 8.5 psi pulley. FIC 1000s and Fuel+ BAP. Base map was good for wot logs up to 7500. Then I got 1 revision and was done. Alex tuned me and said the same tune was good for the 9.5 psi pulley as well if I wanted. Drives great and the process was super simple. I do have an ngauge though, so that made tuning and datalogging a breeze. Got my replies and revision within hours or next day if I replied after business hours. Super happy with them. I had their 93 and flex tune before going boost and always had top notch customer service.

From what I've been told by a few tuners and have read online just running e50 you get about 80% of the knock protection that you do with e85. No question you can make more power on e85 but it wouldn't be by a large margin. I'm really interested to see what a full fuel system e85 can do with higher boost on the g2 or g3.

Can someone tell how extended the tensioner is by this picture?
This is with the K061037 belt on the 125mm pulley.
I feel the belt is pretty tight and know those niches can tell how much the tensioner is working, not sure how to measure it though.
