I always saw it do the flutter or shake but until I watched this vid I had no idea.

The air needs to of course get out. Guys that put Cowl hoods do not have this problem. I was doing 160 + today and I thought at any moment the hood was going to fly off to mexico. I am looking at a fiberglass hood at moment.

No doubt and we just saw it for ourselves. Shawn and I just finished up at Thunderhill raceway and still saw the lift albeit not as bad as before. He also showed me the video you sent him of your car blasting down the roadway. Ultimately anyone would need as much of a air exit as an air intake coming through. I'm good for now.

Not sure if you seen this, but if you want to get of hood lift, shutter and bulge look a this. It's what I did and mine doesn't move anymore at all.

Finally did some testing with the new latches and hood struts, and I can say the hood shake, lift and float is completely solved. I would imagine the struts also help bu the quick latch really keeps the hood pinned down. Before I got hod lift and shake on the highway at 70 mph, I tested this out to double digits now and it's solid. Here are the latches I used, and I bought the white ones but repainted them Oxford white.
