For info the Eibach ProKit springs are:
Front progressive rate 35 - 55 N/mm (200 - 314 ads/in)

The stock springs are:
Front 14mm wire dia, 195mm overall dia, 320mm free length
Rear 19mm wire dia, 140mm overall dia, 340mm free length

djone101, do you know how many active coils there are in each stock spring?

I'll go with your Eibach numbers, as calculating progressive rates aren't easy!!

Front (on the left) 3 active coils and rear 5 active coils (that's how I've counted them anyway)

So it looks like the OEM fronts are 22N/mm and the rears are 132N/mm (I used 5.5 turns based on the photo)

Based on the TUV paperwork, Eibach fronts are 26N/mm and the rears are 113N/mm...

To see where we're at with the progressive rates with djone101's numbers, we should really go with weight distribution front/rear and also unsprung corner weights!!

I'm really procrastinating here, I think I'll just get the springs installed if/when Ford get back to me! I won't really care how much stiffer these are over OEM!

Just had my dealer confirm they are £595 fitted, a bit OTT but I am happy as they can fit them while I wait for the car (01 Apr).

Pricey fitting charge, but as speculated (by myself lol), that the fitting charge would make up for the 'low cost' (visible) cost of the item.

Good ol' pitfalls!

Quite expensive on the fitting. Assuming around £80 for alignment they're reckoning on 4.5 hours labour. That said, I would have had mine done by Ford for delivery day had it been available.
I would check they are including alignment in that price.

The plastic surround to my fog light is broken, currently gaffer taped up.

Ford service guy spotted it and put down replacement can be ordered for £21. Seemed cheap as I'm sure I've seen them in the States for $80.

Problem is 3 hours labour haha.

Think I'll stick to the gaffer tape for a while.

Can get a carbon version of that for $80 lol . see if it's on ford parts, buy the part yourself, and fit it yourself, they're fairly easy to do from what I've seen (and I've been behind that light enough times

My dealer's quoted the supply and fitting at £700... Going to do a bit of negotiation with them to bring this price down!

Mine are being fitted Monday.

Will post up pics and install time when I get it back.... its going to my trusted local garage I use for all my general car stuff. They are experienced, honest and good at their job.... but theyve never worked on a Mustang before.

Will be interesting to see what they make of it!
