I've only driven on the highway once in the car so no real world experience there. in the usual city drive I easily get 20-22 mpg now that the car has 2500 miles on it.

I'm at 2600 miles and getting about 18.5 MPG. But I have a very short commute and when i do take it out longer I've got my foot in it.

26 mpg average over the last 4300 miles. Took a trip to see my brother yesterday, roughly 2 hour drive w/lot of back roads that have a 55 mph speed limit. It bounced between 32-36, depending on what speed I had the CC set at. Car is freaking amazing when it comes to the perf + fuel economy.

My EB PP is at 25.7 over the 4,800 miles total on the car. I'm not sure what that would be if I only drove it easy. Hard launches and driving really take a toll on it. I know on my second odometer I averaged 16 at 1 point. One thing when comparing, I'm sure the PP will get a little less due to the higher gears.

I have only 600 miles on the EB. But I have been somewhat grumpy when it didn't average 30+mpg on 55 mph roads. It has mostly averaged 34-38 mpg. Can't wait to see what I will get when the engine is finally broken in.
I am going on some 2,000+ miles road trips this summer. I am going to put my ScanGaugeII onto the OBD port so that I can see the instantaneous mpg.

'druidis'...I have gone through the steering wheel gauge menus and never found the instananeous mpg option. Can you give me step-by-step instructions on how to find it?
Maybe I just don't notice that option as I go through the menu...is it buried in the sub-menu options?

You can get to the various gauges, right? (using the left steering wheel buttons to navigate).

To get to gauges, toggle UP/DOWN & LEFT/RIGHT. Until you get to MPG.
Select MPG, go RIGHT.
Inside of MPG, toggle UP/DOWN.

There is overall MPG (Trip1) that I personally use since I bought the car.
Trip2 MPG is per tank, I reset when I get gas.
Instantaneous - driving along, see what I get at 70mph, versus 72mph, versus 75mph...
Every 5 minutes for last 30 minutes - typical for going to work, after warmup.
