Ecoboost hood vents?

I'd there a kit to add hood vents to an ecoboost? I don't really want the glorified stickers they sell on AM but I can't even find a kit for cutting the hood. Anyone else have any info or anything I'm missing?

You’re going to have to find a gt hood in your color unfortunately. Sounds impossible but you’ll get lucky eventually. I found mine on Craig’s list for $400. It’s much easier to just do the swap (which takes 10 minutes) than to do any cutting. Just check the for sale forums here, eBay, and Craig’s list compulsively and something will turn up.

That look awesome. After looking at the pictures the cutting doesn't seem to be as drastic as i first imagined. This is definitely something I'm gonna look into.

I look all the time. I always feel like Denver is a big city until I look for something on Craigslist. In the past 3 or 4 months I've seen 1 s550 hood from a part out for sale. Not much in the way of ecoboost parts either which is weird because boosted at a mile high is the way to go. Anyways thanks for the ideas I'll keep looking.

How about Verus Engneering. They have two kits and both will work with an Ecoboost hood. One kit says GT and non-GT. I contacted them and they let me know that either kit will work. Good Luck.
