Am I the only one not in a big rush? As long as there is some sort of progress by the time I get back from Nepal end of May, I'll be happy. So far, it'd be perfect for me to pick up end of June time.

Try finding an S3 Saloon of similar vintage - only 6 on AT; 70 GTs sounds like a lot of cars for sale.

Dealers are idiots, kick him into gear, there's no problem with shipping, you have proof it's already there.

What he may mean is they've had a lot kept at the forecourt for months and are slowly whittling these away whilst on the new VEDs.

Manders, I go away to work for a month on Monday so there is probably no point chasing and going through all the hassle.
He definitely meant that it was not in the U.K. (Which we know it is)
I was hoping I could at least inspect the car before I left so I was happy but it's probably more hassle than it's worth.

Am I missing something, how do you know it's in the U.K.?

My updates say exactly the same and I know it *isn't* in the UK. Maybe I missed a post along the line, but would like to find out to check mine

Send me your vin. I can check but....

Basically if it says delivered from and a date, it means it's been booked on a ship TO the UK, then the following friday (as in the next closest one) it's loaded, the following saturday it'll arrive in So'ton if your delivered from date is before this coming friday, your car will either be in So'ton or about to board a ship to So'ton.

So mine says Delivered From Zeebrugge 30-03-2017 16:40.
Exactly the same as Ritchie's.
So as the 30th was last Thursday, by that logic it would have sailed last Friday and be in Southampton. I get that.

But Karen confirmed earlier this week that it is being shipped this weekend coming. Not last weekend.
So, confused and wanted to find out how it was known one car showing the same info as mine was in the UK when I know mine isn't - did I miss a stage or some info?

Delivered from only occurs when it's been booked on a ship. Delivered from is different to discharged btw.

Unless it was super effing busy and they over booked then yes, it should be.

Not looking good for an early May delivery for me as still nothing on the shipping website in regards to being assigned a ship.

Just got an update from Karen as well. Mine changed to delivered from this morning:

"It is due to sail on Monday I believe. It missed todays sailing,


I shall check again next week for you. it is due to be delivered to the dealer week commencing 24th April, but of course this is an estimation."

11th - 24th does seem like quite a time to be travelling from Southampton to Inverness, but then I do live in deepest darkest Scotland! Going in to see the dealer tomorrow to tell him what I would like done before I pick up the car so I will be badgering him about how I know it will be in the country Tuesday!

Just had an email from Karen, saying my car is

"scheduled on the Talisman which leaves on the 19th April. This is the next vessel to leave containing Mustangs. ETA to Zeebrugge is Friday 28th April"
