Hey guys, I don't know if I'm paranoid or anything... but I feel like my car gets a little too shaky at idle. Specially if it idlestill for a little while longer. Now, i really dont know if this has any to do with the following things, maybe? I have an hour pipe, so no resonator, exhaust causing it? I have a 93 tune, idle AFR is around 14, normal? Idle rpm, is around 600-650? I have no idea if these are the things that could cause it...lol, or if the "shaking" is just normal...

Help your noob forum member out please!

Mine does it too, Usually when cold and idling in my driveway. It's random and slight. Not really concerned about it. So apparently it's common if the three of us have it. Of course some would think we are three exclusively insane people. It's not something the dealer can fix so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Mine is also totally stock, so it's not your tune.

Mine does it too. Small random "kicks" at idle at stoplights. Also 100% stock.

No fan kicking in. And idle fluctuates between 650-600 RPM...

I'll put it back to stock, see if it still does it I guess. Sometimes it does it a lot, sometimes it is not even noticeable.... you guys with a stock tune, what's your AFR and RPM at idle?

Yes, you can see the tach jump when it does this. Expert engineering. My old Dodge Stealth V6 never did this. Don't get my wrong, I love my Mustang, but I can see the shortcomings of an American car. I weighed all this, still, I would be in a 4 cyl Accord for this price.

Mine shutters from time to time at idle, nothing too Earth shattering. I'm not concerned.

If yours is continuous, you could always make sure your spark plugs have to correct gap. I imagine if fender alignment issues, paint defects and other stupid issues exist, there could be an issue with gap.

Mine will bounce up and down on cold start, very seldom, just blip the gas to calm her down. Similar to a woman, but they just needs a blip of "D" instead...
