Build Week 2/2/15

Might be around Christmas huh? Especially when you consider those in Europe, Aus., and around the globe.

I picked mine up this morning... FINALLY! Four months to the day. (11/26 - 3/26)

Mostly it looked great. Except for the trunk, all the panels fit well. The gap where the rear bumper meets the fender was a little uneven on both sides, but it's OK with me. Looks better than my '05 did in those spots.

The leather on one of the side bolsters of the passenger seat is a little loose so I'll have to have that fixed. (68B Premier Trim)

Oh, and mine had 16 miles on it when it came off the truck yesterday.

Coolest thing though was my build sheet was in the car!!

The trunk was a bit off, they are adjusting it now. Everything else looked good.

Picked my Race Red GTPP up yesterday. I can't stop looking at it. The race red looks so much better in person than in pictures and contrasts fantastically with the PP wheels. As far as alignment and any other issues. Everything looks perfect or at least good enough for me not to notice.

Good luck to all of the others still waiting it is definitely worth the wait!

Everything looks good so far loos like Ford got everything right on this one 19.3 miles on her. I will pick it up after it's detailed then right to the muffler shop to have a Ford X pipe installed and windows tinted Very happy with this car worth the wait

Mine had 19 miles on it -- It's amazing how quickly the frustrations 4+ months of waiting seem like a distant memory. Driving this car really does make me forget about all that.

Premium Leather getting 'cheaper'?

The first 2015 I sat in had premium leather, the material felt very high quality. During the last 3 months waiting for my convertible I have sat in several more that had premium. This afternoon I sat in a GT Premium Convertible with premium leather (window sticker). The leather felt much lower in quality than the first ones I sat in. I am now worried, that my premium leather seats are going to feel this bad. Has Ford decided to make a little more money off the seats?
