Man the fronts are dusted up quick and it's hard to clean all the little slots in the wheels. Any suggestions?

Get rid of the stock brake pads.

Brake dust has been an issue with my last two Mustangs, and replacing the pads is about the only solution outside of cleaning your wheels every 200 miles.

I cleaned mine for the first time yesterday and am going to buy a drill today and a bunch of these wheel brushes and soft cone ones to clean. PIA by hand.

Had a similar issue on my '14 FoST, changed to ceramic pads and no more daily cleaning.

I am looking for some good ceramic pads for the PP, but no luck as yet.

aren't the wheels black for brake dust reason? is it noticeable over the black wheels?

Yeah it goes from a piano black to a matte graphite look. To Joe everyman on the street they wouldn't know the difference, but it's obvious if you own the car.

I switched to Hawk Ceramics in my Brembo-equipped 2011 GT and the difference is amazing. Did the switch early summer and I've washed the wheels once since then.

Any noticeable difference with the ceramic pads?

The brushes I have won't help on the inside of the front wheels as the rotor does not provide enough clearance. Need another expensive but smaller brush :(

S100 Total Cycle Cleaner

Say no to wiping and brushing, get a bottle of S100 Total Cycle Cleaner. Spray it on a "COLD WHEEL AND BRAKES" then hose it off. This is the best stuff in the world. Be sure to rinse off completely with a hard water spray.
