BMR toe rods tock tack... (video)

Hello,

After a month I installed the BMR toe rods, and with the spirng, i started to hear this tock tock that you can hear in the video.

From outside it is very strong and it happens even I come out from the car.

It seems it is coming from a compression of the "sphere". Once I installed back the stock toe rods this sound disappeared.

Any ideas why this is happening? Bmr states there is no nvh but this seems to me like a very annoying noise.

is the spherical bearing tight (no looseness)? Are jam nuts torqued securely?

Yes, we checked everything many times and we swapped the toe rods from left to right and vice versa. There is one that makes more noise but both does.

I can understand one defected piece, but both? The probabilities are near.. impossible

Something to look for. Make sure when looking a the spherical end of the rod that the largest space in face the front of the vehicle

Well, it seems very similar to my issue.

So in my understanding the solution seems to be: 1) clean 2) wd40 3) grease well 4) cover with dust boost?

I used the wd40 and it is a good temp fix, one day while car was in for custom alignment, I went to look and realized the wide side of my spacers were facing the back. simple unbolt and rotate. Haven't had an issue since. I used to hear mine when I would pull down with all my weight on the sway bar
