I recently bricked my AP during a firmware update. I sent the unit to be repaired and I got it back today. My issue is I no longer have my stock tune because, for some reason, it wasn't backed up even though I had the backup option turned on in AP Manager. Can someone send me a copy of the stock tune for a 2015 EB AT USDM?

Mine is backed up to c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\APManager\backup

There is a .rom and a .rom_sum file there.

FORD_US_MUSTANG_EB_AT_16F_970_enc.rom
FORD_US_MUSTANG_EB_AT_16F_970_enc.rom_sum

I have a 2016 Auto.

Have you checked for a shadow copy? By default, that folder should have shadow copies turned on.

A ticking time bomb ;)
I'm sure Cobb has a recovery file you can utilize. I know SCT does for sure and it's not a hard process at all

I would contact Cobb since you don't have a backup. I would guess that the backup file from another ECU is going to be a problem since the VIN is probably in it. I would be surprised if your car will run on it. I had that problem as far back as 15 years ago when swapping the ECU in a vehicle. It would start for 2 seconds and then die because the security in the keys didn't match the codes in the ECU.

I tried to send the ECU file to another user on this site and hotmail gives me a error saying it is a policy violation. Let me know if you want me to send with another method.

The Accessport has every stock file it is compatible with (all years, all markets, all transmissions, etc). It will identify your ECU and return the factory data to it during an uninstall process. There is nothing that needs to be done on your end.
