In less than 3 years the price of an 'equivalent' spec car (i.e. GT auto) to mine has increased by nearly 25% - that's a little more than inflation. I'm therefore priced out. I'm sure the improvements are worth it but it is getting further away from the fast, fun and affordable ethos of Mustang. Shame really, that active exhaust alone would be enough to make me want to swap if money was no object. Glad I jumped on the band wagon when I did.

I’m glad I bought one when I did. There is no way I would have been able to buy one at the price it is now. It’s a bit psychological too. My MY16 was 30 something, a 18 with the spec I would want is 40 something. It makes it sound a lot more expensive.

I think they have priced a lot of people out now. Or there will be a lot of base cars available in a few years time.

In January I plan to have made a decision on which car to order and the 18 is a strong contender.

if it then takes another 6 months until delivery it will be a long wait

That's part of the fun... and gives you loads of time to start amassing mods for the car!
