So I’ve been using this intake since it was gifted to me, but the filter is getting janky. Any good way to clean it or am I better off ordering a new one? It’s not the oiled one, but it’s also not the race version that is see trough. I think just regular dry flow.

I tried blasting it with compressed air and that got the bigger chunks out that were stuck on the surface but there’s still finer junk in there that could stand to be cleaned off.

Is it cotton or paper? Cotton clean. Paper toss.

I have no idea, I doubt it's paper, but I will check, can I just buy an intake cleaner if it's cotton and spray it down with that?

Airaid comes with a washable filter - some oiled some not. If it is the original part you should have no issues washing and reusing it, just be sure to follow Airaids specific cleaning instructions.

The filter should have a part number listed on it as well..

Yeah it's the synthamax non-oiled filter as I found out. Looks like I gotta get their cleaning solution and just wash it. No oil which is nice.

You could also just take a shop vac to it as well, but I personally would follow the instructions.
