So, after owning this vehicle for over 2 years now I accidentally enabled AdvanceTrac SPORT MODE when trying to turn off advance trac.
I wasn't aware there were other options on my base model other than Traction Control off and AdvanceTrac off.
Anyone aware of what Sport Mode does?

If you're unaware, press your traction control button then immediately press it and hold again for a second or two and release. Sport mode will be activated

It's in the owners manual.

It's usually how I drive the car unless it's wet outside.

Dang didnt realize you had to double press and hold, thought it was just double tap. I had a rental base v6 for a couple days and kept trying to activate it with a double tap and couldn't so I would just turn it off haha. Didn't want to bother reading manual again since it was a rental anyway.

Side note, from my understanding that combined with sport mode steering is basically the equivalent of the premium "track mode" just without the increased throttle response.

I believe all you need is a double tap to engage this. At least, on my car this is true.

I just use track mode all the time, still can't spin the A/S 20" foundry without dumping clutch.

Interesting, thanks for posting. I read over the manual several times and missed this!

I'll have to try it out

You only double-tap it quickly 2 times for advanced sport trac. You hold it for 8 seconds to disable T/C.

Just tried it in my EB and it does not work. I can go to advanced track off but not this one. Perhaps its a GT only thing.

So why do we need a forum to dicuss topics concerning our mustangs if the answer is going to be...
It's in the owners manual.
Maybe the only topics we can discuss are aftermarket parts; but then they have product discriptions and instructions.

Maybe we can just stay with Mustang vs Camaro/challenger?

There is nothing in the owner's manual. Doesn't even tell you how to do it unless you have a premium.

I've been playing around with Sport Mode a little. Can't give you a review just yet. Literally learned about this a week ago.

It lets you have a little bit of wheelspin and even lets the car get out 10-15 degrees before reigning it back in. It also lets you spin a bit on shifts, taking strain off of the clutch of having to fight the brakes
