Bone stock US GT ... not mine, but someone's on this site.

So I am guessing it’s a Gen 3 advertised with 460 crank hp with 15% drivetrain loss which should be 391 and giving a little warmth in the shop losing 2 tenths of a hp? Lol jk and only guessing.

That post was made in April 2016, so Gen 3 Coyote wasn't even on the streets at that time.

Ah I didn’t even notice the date. Maybe an older Shelby or some other special edition Mustang idk🤷‍♂️
How about a stock 435 HP Gen2 Coyote with manual transmission running in 5th gear (1:1 ratio) with around 10% drive train loss.

435 x 0.9 = 391.5 ... which is basically what the dyno chart shows.

Definitely could be. I just always thought the drivetrain loss from crank to the wheels was at least 15% or higher.

The drive train loss is higher with an automatic transmission. If a manual is ran in the 1:1 gear ratio, and the transmission and differential oil is nice and hot (less viscous drag loss), then the drive train loss can be low as 10%.

2018 GT MT82 in 4th. Whipple complete stage 1 kit with Whipple canned tune. 93 octane gas. Best run was 583hp/509tq. HP seems a bit low for the torque?

My guess is it hit COT at 5800 or you got some knock. Really need a good log to know what’s up there but I’m sure this could make low/mid 600’s.

Torque and HP are direcly related by the formula: HP=(T x RPM)÷5253, so if T is low, so is the resulting HP at any given RPM.

Wengerd tuned. Crappy 93 gas, so i had to run octane booster. Couldn't be happier. Run was on a Mustang Dyno

What happened to the other RPM's? Looks to me like it was still making steam up top.
