i'd get the 3.55. I've never really felt that the 3.15 were about to lose traction off a hard launch.

My 3.55:1 6R80

In my opinion, based on experience, even with the 3:15's you will be traction limited off the line most of the time in real world conditions with the 10A's short gears and all season tires. I expect the 18 GTPP 10A I'm getting to be traction limited off the line with 3:55's, Torsen, and the new Michelin tires. Probably even with autocross Bridgestone RE-71R tires on many sites and certainly around town.
I just bought S-04 pole position Bridgestone's and tested the "grip" off the line. Mercy it goes and squeals like a pig too. I laid down 12-15 ft. of twin rubber on the test, straight as an arrow, well almost. Tires matter. 10 speed will be even lower I believe, 3:55.1 may be too much gear for the street.

It’s worth pointing out that imo, most hard acceleration are done when the car is already in motion and not from a dig. So 3.55 will get it done better

3.55

Get the Torsen 3.55
If its too low, get a 3.15 for $300 from a junkyard and swap in.
There are hundreds of 3.15 out there and simetines found for much less.
Going the other way will be $$$, 3.55 Torsen from yard will be $700-1000.

The normal GT 3:55 limited slip is a Traction-Loc according to what the order guide seems to say. The Torsen is only included with performance pack GT's and starting in 18 EB performance packs which previously had Traction-Loc.

Here a comparison of the gear ration between the 6-Speed Auto and the 10-Speed Auto for reference as well.

Those are 6r80 vs 10r80 “automatic” gear ratios, not mt-82 ratios!!!!

Sorry. Thanks for pointing out my error. I've been searching for the new MT-82 numbers in vain and obviously didn't read the headers. :headbonk:
