Is anyone running 285/35r20 and 265/35r20 staggered on their rides, I am currently running 275/35r20 squared and considering going to a staggered setup on 9.5" wheels for better traction and less weight and tramlining up front. I currently run ECS02's for tires and most likely will stay with those, I know I will lose the ability to rotate and I am good with that. I believe there is a .6" difference in diameter which I would like a slight rake anyways. I really don't want to buy new wheels as I love my TSW Bathurst's and they were not cheap. Please let me know your experience with this set up or something similar?

I ran 265/35/20s on 9.5s all around for years on a GT. It was very comfortable but by no mean and canyon carver. You'll be fine with the 285s in the rear for street cruising. Just be aware of the minor speedo/odometer variance.

Thank you for your response, I can change the tire diameter in my tune for the speedo đź‘Ť

Anyone??? even a 275/35r20 and 255/35r20? I am just trying to figure out how this staggered setup rides? handles? corners? launches?

not that you'd notice.

If you're 265 is pulling, check your alignment.

Currently I am 275/35r20 squared, but would like to go 285/35 rear and 265/35 front just for slightly better traction in rear, cut some weight and rolling resistance in front and add a slight rake for aero reasons. I have had 2 cars with 305/30's but don't like how they corner etc. When I bought the TSW's I bought them all in 9.5" and the 285/265 combo is really all I can do with those wheels and I really don't want to buy new rear wheels as these are only a little over a year old.
I had it aligned about 5 months ago. Just looking for someone with a similar staggered set up, to see how they like it.

Going from 275 to 285 is not a noticeable difference in traction. Even just visually, it’s hard to see it. Going from 275 to 305 is a different story, but you need a wider wheel for 305’s

They only make the TSW Bathurst up to a 10” wheel, maybe I’ll suck it up and buy the 10” and slap some 295’s on there 🤪

The approved American answer is always to spend more money.
