The update says

UPDATE: Police say two vehicles were travelling “in close proximity at a high rate of speed” and both lost control, but did not make contact. The southbound lanes of the highway have since reopened.

I only see one car there. Wonder if the other driver walked away unscathed/spun out?

Said the 2nd vehicle regained control and kept going... I wonder how fast they were actually going... I don't know that road very well - only driven it once or twice and that was a long time ago. Certainly the 404 doesn't have anything with actual bends in it...
