A wise choice, and brave, most US citizens seem to buy Japanese when they are buying just, plain old, cars.$6500 How sad. This only further cements my decision to buy a 2017 Fusion Sport with the current $4500 in rebates and another $3000 off for A plan. I'd rather pay 27k for a new car than 45k even if it is slower.
You have A-plan, why are you complaining?$6500 How sad. This only further cements my decision to buy a 2017 Fusion Sport with the current $4500 in rebates and another $3000 off for A plan. I'd rather pay 27k for a new car than 45k even if it is slower.
She's moaning because, most likely, she needs four doors. And nothing wrong with that, no sirree Bob.You have A-plan, why are you complaining?
A PP2 + premium will still run 40k after A plan. Compare that to 2015/16/17 when I could get a GT PP Premium for 34k.You have A-plan, why are you complaining?

As they say, "The devil is in the details", so I'm holding off "final opinion" until we know a few more specifics.
Per Kevin08 above, PP1 + Magride = ~$5700, so about $800 difference that includes a wheel/tire change.
However, like we all know, we're talking manufacturer's costs combined with parts being replaced, so it could be better/bigger shocks/springs/swaybars vs. PP1. The rear wing might be specific to this package (and maybe something cool, like adjustable).
Pardon my ignorance, but what is the FRT BMP line item? Is that Front Bumper? Some kind of package specific front fascia?
Hey. I got one of those keypad radios !It's not $5700 for PP1+Magnaride, it's $7690. 301A is mandatory. Likewise, PP2 isn't $6500, it's really $8500 since the $2000 301A is mandatory.
This is what really chaps my hide and where I think Ford screwed the pooch. Camaro 1LE is $6500 above a base 1SS, period.
301A should be the base package at $35095 and the PP2 should be $6500 above that. While $6500 was clearly targeting the 1LE with the exact same pricing it is really a bait-switch. There is nothing in 301A that is out of line with base specifications of a car in this price range. That stupid keypad radio should have gone in the junk bin about 3 years ago.
So at the end of the day, my comment about ~$800 difference is still correct. That was my point, not the total cost (and how that affects the final car price), but the price +difference+ between the two packages because this thread is about "What's the PP2 have, over the PP1 for X cost difference"It's not $5700 for PP1+Magnaride, it's $7690. 301A is mandatory. True, but on that count I think it's fair actually. $800 for cloth Recaros and different (better?) wheels is reasonable. So at the end of the day, my comment about ~$800 difference is still correct. I mean, I hear you about the continuous escalation of prices, and the required inclusion of packages on top of packages, but I didn't want *my* point to get lost in the wash
Didn't they say 275/295 on pilot sport cup 2's? Not crazy wide, but pretty wide, and good tires. Overall close to the ss 1le.that does not sound very special to me. I was expecting wide sticky tires and some trackworthy suspension upgrades to compete with the 1LE .. oh well. not that I was going to buy it either way, just wanted to see us with a car that could compete better
