The S550 already have a fuel shut off. Just watch the current fuel cunsumption monitor and take the foot off the accelerator, the green cunsumption bar will go to zeroYeah I'm wondering if it would be annoying in the same way. Lag time from let-off to hitting the gas again?
Is that new on 18s?
Using track mode items in no way voids the warranty. It's Fords way of allowing features that would otherwise be illegal on public roads. If you use them and get a ticket or kill someone, you can't sue Ford.Drag Mode on the Auto "Track Use Only" (P.15)....Bang Goes the Warranty
Almost all cars since the introduction of electronic fuel injection shut off the injectors at no load/high vacuum intervals (coasting in gear down a hill).Yeah I'm wondering if it would be annoying in the same way. Lag time from let-off to hitting the gas again?
Is that new on 18s?
surprised this wasn't made known by ford during the "under 4 sec 0-60"
It was totally relavant, as the "under 4 sec 0-60" was with the new 10 Sp Auto

How is it relevant? Your quoting a statement based on the auto while claiming it has something to do with a manual tech?
First time reading about the grill flaps that open and close. Not gonna lie, I'm not on board with the looks of the 18 but the tech is really making me want one.
Greeeeeeeeat. That's gonna fair well for cars and coffee.surprised this wasn't made known by ford during the "under 4 sec 0-60"
Why the EB and not the GT? EB harder to regulate engine temps? The Ecoboost already had the active grille shutters.
Fuel mileage. Why the EB and not the GT? EB harder to regulate engine temps?
Should be noted that they will be absent on PP cars, as well.Fuel mileage.
So not only does PP cost $1,000 more for no reason, now you get pay more to lose some technology to go with that suhweet track performance.Should be noted that they will be absent on PP cars, as well.
Also absent on all export EcoBoosts as well. Which is a good thing because that makes it a lot easier to install a decent intercooler.Should be noted that they will be absent on PP cars, as well.
Gotta remember that CAFE Standards are fleetwide average, not model specific. As long as they get to rate the Mustang as high as possible, it doesn't really matter if some trims have it and others don't.So not only does PP cost $1,000 more for no reason, now you get pay more to lose some technology to go with that suhweet track performance.
That and one less thing to fail later on and make the engine run hot. Also absent on all export EcoBoosts as well. Which is a good thing because that makes it a lot easier to install a decent intercooler.
