Well this thread will be a pissing match any second now. Any bets on what will be faster next year? Will it be the automatic PP or the manual?

Well with 1st gear in the transmission being 4.17 on the auto that's plenty to get you out of the hole. But the stock tune is awful.
I really wish I had an opportunity to drive a tuned car. I just really don't have anybody else that I know at all with another mustang in my area that I know. But since I will not risk the warranty on a coyote motor I won't tune it anyway. I am hoping the 18 will be quick enough that I will be content without a tune.

Well it's already obvious you have no idea what you are talking about considering the PP doesn't come with 235s:lol: so I won't even bother to continue to correct you until you do research.
He said non-PP GT. Read what you quoted again.

Oh god, here we go. Auto owners getting triggered

Not the same cars but the ZL1 did better in manual than the A10 speed on the track.
And the zo6 was faster with the automatic.

A 3.15 automatic is leaving manuals for dead. . .all you have to do is visit your local track

I can see that combination probably does work flat out at the track. Unfortunately for many of us it's not much fun on the street during daily use.

Only at a drag strip. The conversation is not about that.

It's not the trans as much as I'd prefer to have the bigger brakes. Sure I can be ok with the 4-pots but man they get hot! Having 6-pots with more mass just handles the heat better.
