Put in the new battery today. Was only disconnected for about 5 minutes (did a full corrosion clean-up in May) so everything was saved and the car fired right up.
You're running street pads and complaining about brake fade. If a long list of people are giving you the same answer maybe you're the one who is wrong. Thinking that you're gonna overdrive the OE caliper and rotor setup using appropriate pads on those street tires is nonsensical.
You've been...
I have Z26 pads front and rear for street-only car. Like another poster mentioned above, those pads have NO business being on track. If you want to burn money for looks and get a set of GT350 brakes (I did on a set of those Steeda 2-piece rotors when they were first released for $1200) then...
Sonax Perfect Finish and a Rupes Yellow Pad is a go-to combo for one-steps. Over Christmas I'll be trying Rupe's Uno Pure to freshen up before applying new Gtechniq Exo V4 over 2 year old CSL + V4.

Write up by Billy Johnson on tire size. I'd look into SVE wheels. Have several offerings that will fit and they're inexpensive.
That's an incredibly common size and offset. It'll work just fine. Are you paying for a forged wheel? 295 is too wide for 10". 275/40 or 283/35 will fit and perform better.
I've had good luck with the ONR suggested above. Use an IK (or another brand) sprayer to go over the car before touching it, then a bucket with towels soaked in solution.
