Road & Track, Jan 2016 issue made GT350R 2016 Performance car of the year, The GT350R is more track-focused. Muscle Mustang & Fast Fords Mar 2016 issue has a 2015 GT350 R-C in the IMSA Continental Tire SportCar Challenge, by Multimatic Motorsports running a 5.2L flat plane crankshaft V8 assembled by Roush Yates Engine so what gives.

That looks pretty good. I think I'd have to have a black roof or OTT stripes to break up all that blue though.
I've got somebody working up a photoshop of that now

Well, If stricter CAFE standards for MY 2018 will prevent Ford from producing a 2018 GT350 , Ford needs to produce at least 10000 GT350 Mustangs for 2017 to meet the demand.

I'm pretty sure the X thousand units of GT350 per year won't impact Ford's CAFE ratings given the 3.3 million cars they make annually. Tightening CAFE standards definitely would make them think twice about producing an entirely-new thirsty V8 engine though.

I love Magnetic, would prefer Ford just add Ignot Silver and leave Magnetic as an option.
I asked the head of development of the Mustang as to why they didn't include Ingot Silver and he said they already had AG and Magnetic and felt there didn't need to be another silver.

They may do like they did with the B302 and have a color one year specific to the GT350 and offer a different color the next year.

Who knows...

Not being an ass here, but why does Ford have to produce to meet demand? Just cause people say they should?

Was just called by my sales guy (for waiting R order) and was told it is moving to scheduled (from unscheduled material hold). :cheers:He also advised that Ford is announcing today that GT350 production will go into MY 2017. From his email:

""Today Ford announced that the GT-350 will continue to be built in 2017. Yes, your patience has been tried with this ordered sports car. One of the benefits of your long wait is that several production concerns have been addressed. Estimated production over these 2 years is still 3,600 GT-350s so the car will qualify for Manufactures stock class road racing. Looking forward to next Thursday's update. "
With all this information flying around. Does anyone know have anymore news on R production resuming. I've been waiting so long I keep thinking about getting a Z06 to go with my CTS-V Wagon.
