It's not adding.I thought the gt350s go for about 60k to begin with, then add all that other stuff...
My first car was a 1976 Vega GT. I did see a Crosworth Vega at a Houston dealership. I believe the car was black with gold accents.I remember GM using Cosworth heads on the Cosworth Vega. I dont know of any street cars produced by FORD in America with Cosworth heads. I know Cosworth has worked with Ford to develop heads for their race engines. I see GM as the first to use the new Cosworth heads. As stated, Ford has some really good V8 heads. I dont know if Ford would benefit much but offering Mustangs with Cosworth heads.
Well maybe my 69 will sell by the time this comes out...it's due for a replacement. It's not adding.
The 10 speed is already coming. The cross plane will be easier.
Gear ratios don't cost more. And changing the aero may be cheaper.
So let's be realistic.
Could be a 50k - 55k car.
We aren't adding turbos or awd.
And by then it will be like the Boss 302 to GTPP.
The economies of scale and time. Things get cheaper.
But let's say the gt350 goes away. And then let's say the Mach fills it's spot. Then you've got a 50-60k range to play with.
Unless the Mach name gets repurposed like the Z28 name did. And then it becomes something more. But I doubt it.
Who says its just the heads? Maybe its the whole engine? Ford has got a long history with cosworth so its plausible their working on something.
Nope, I hope the Voodoo remains unique to the GT350.Does anyone else wish they would just throw the gt350 engine in the Mach 1? I need a Auto GT350!
Whats the difference between cross and flat - plane crank?Nope, I hope the Voodoo remains unique to the GT350.
Ideally, I'd want the Mach 1 to have a cross plane crank 5.2...........or, at the very least, a hi-po 5.0 Coyote
RightIt could work.
A shaker hood wouldn't be a deal breaker for me either way, but that one above does look good to me
