I think if Ford has a brain in their head they'll offer a GT500 with an automatic option.

Not doing so removes the GT500 as an option for some, and hands the Hellcat or ZL1 a sale.

I think it's time to offer one too. The GT500 doesn't need to meet Motorsport regulation and drag racing is priority.

A paddle shifted auto, 808hp TT Coyote would be insane.

Guys seriously the rocket design is horrible the blue one above and the elenor design on the first page looks insane!!! Rocket destroyed the front and with those wheels

I hope the GT500 coincideds with the first S550 facelift. Chris' render, above, looks great without the turn signals/lower fogs in the front fascia.It's much cleaner. Hopefully we'll get new headlamps that at least incorporate the turn signals for a neater look. The Fusion already does a great job of that. Perhaps LED headlamps on the top level trims?

800 hp with auto? Where do I sign. I'll give up my (future to be) supercharged le and daily drive that.

Yep, the Rocket channels a lot of old Shelby DNA for me. Henrik has stated his favourite muscle car was the '68 GT500.......
