Just came back from my dealer, orders are open.
i have my invoice in my hand i have not finalized because i will go again on monday to discuss additionals like red calipers etc.
but here is the info i have:

The red caliper will be a dealership addon... thats why i will go back on monday to sit with the sales rep to add these additional packages (dealership level).
he was too busy today, we set up apt monday at 16:30 and i will make my order

I too am on hold only due to which color to go with. Either TY or CO GT premium convertible with performance package. Open to any other suggestions on options.

When pricing out the VOC sheet shows the X Plan price for the car and options . The dealer said the X Plan pin gets used when picking get up the car.

I'm getting your same configuration in CO.

When do we think Ford accepts orders for the 2016's?

'16 orders are already being accepted. Orders put in now will just sit in the queue until scheduling starts, but that's normal.

I wonder if the salesperson really submitted the order to Ford though.... I have been told end of May but didn't know if that was accurate.

I can assure you that '16 Mustang orders can already be placed in Ford's order banks. I've been ordering a bunch of them already (I do all the ordering for a large volume Ford/Lincoln dealership). '15 Mustang orders can still be input until May 28th, so there's a 2 week overlap to order either model year.

A/Z Plan pricing is for current/retired Ford Motor Company employees.

D-Plan pricing is for Ford dealership employees.

Invoice Total is roughly $150-$200 below X-Plan.

It's true they can't be physically built yet, but we can build, price on the computer, and order technically.
