Sure about that??? What exact code are we looking for? Here is mine.. built last week of Nov 2014.

I have not one, but 2 E's in mine.
There should be a build date somewhere in there... Is that the sticker in the front of the motor?

yup.. here is shot from farther back. Its the only sticker on the front of the motor. Also attached is the stamp on the side of the motor.

If I understood correctly, your build date is after the EE100. So yours would be 031014, DDMMYY = October 3, 2014.

Okay let's see if we can figure something out here because I hear after March 2015 build you get the E code, mine is Aug build yet no E, something must of changed in a short amount of time?

I had to search for it for a minute. But an older thread Adam posted in says the latest part number ends with "-E". The engine part number isn't on the sticker. It will be cast on the block somewhere. He went on to say that there have been no reported failures of engines built after March 2015. I believe that's about the same time Cleveland starting producing the 2.3.

My thoughts are that if you have a CEP sticker, you're probably alright.

No it would have to he post March 2015. Your build date is pre 2015 and has a Spain build sticker

If the 6 numbers after EE100 are the date, ecoboostin has the oldest mustang in the world.
