Anyone has any throttle body spacers installed on their 2015 5.0? Ford has one that's considerably cheaper than aFe's version. The only difference is Ford seems to have a smooth bore spacer vs. aFe's which has some serrated cuts in it.

So the real question is: Is it worth it? Anyone noticed any power gains after install?

Save your money, or give it to me. There is nothing to be had with a spacer.

you should have put on the stickers, that would have been 10 more right there.

For $30 I will take the time to become an ordained priest over the internet and bless your car. This service will provide you with 5x the horsepower and torque of the throttle body spacers.

Paypal gift only. Refunds will be given in the form of smiles. :D

Here is a little I found that may help your decision:

"Type of Engine
These spacers mainly benefit older engines. In particular, those with fuel injection systems that have the fuel go directly into the throttle body, where it then mixes with air before going into the combustion chamber. It also can help with carburetor systems. However, if the vehicle has a multi-port fuel injection system or other top of the line system, then that small change in the air vortex will not make any difference to the performance, torque or horsepower. Therefore, before you go out and purchase a spacer, make sure your engine can actually benefit from having this upgrade."

Is that the same part of the forum dedicated to stickers and blinker fluid? ;)

Couldn't resist. :D

The FRPP part is so you can install the 90mm TB and clear the manifold. There never was any gains advertised.

The throttle body spacers really do nothing for you besides giving you a handy spot for some meth injection. That's it.

Intake manifold spacers will do something for you though, giving you more low end torque at the expense of top end. They pretty much do the opposite of the boss/cobra jet intake, as those have shorter runners than stock while the intake spacers will give you longer runners.
