That a gvr-4 in the garage?
Very cool! Had a 91 back 11 years ago. 680/2000. I sold it before I left for basic training. Wish I would have kept it! I had huge plans for it and never really did much to it.

Question: I'm running 19x9.5 with 275/40/19's square PP wheels. I'm on 25mm adapters and it looks pretty tight up front under the strut like it might rub if I drop it any. Anyone out there running the same setup and what sort of springs. I'm thinking BMR minimal drop front springs and BMR .5" drop for the back but even the minimal drop front springs seem tight. Advice?

It's the location of the lower spring seat (which is fixed to the strut) that determines vertical clearance to the tire shoulder/tread. They don't move just because you put shorter springs on the car.

How tight is the clearance? Got a picture?

Can't upload from phone but about a small Mexican thumb is all that fits between tire and lower spring seat.

Actually see picture.

Looking for a square setup with Forgestar F14's in Matte or Piano Black.

19X9.5
275/35/19 or 275/40/19 on Michelin PSS.

20X9.5
275/35/20 on Michelin PSS

Not sure on offset for flush fitment. Would either setup need spacers? Can 19X10 or 20X10 be done without spacers?

If I did lower the car, it would be a very mild lower in the future.

It'll look the same after you lower. Tire to car body structure/fender openings/etc., and the amount of shock bump travel (less because lowering moves the strut into 'bump' relative to its stock position) is what will change.

Guess I am bringing this back to life. 20x10 with +40 currently running 275/35/20 all around. This is on a Roush car and it has one way adjustable coil over kit that lowers approx. 1.5 in the front and 1 inch in the rear. Think it is possible to run 285/35/20 all around without spacers in the front. Anyone running that setup?

I am running 285/35/20 on 20x10 et40 wheels, but i have a 5mm spacer up front because there would only be about 3mm clearance otherwise. I'm on BMR front minimal drop springs & BMR drag springs in the rear. absolutely no rubbing issues whatsoever.

Likely will be fine. 19" wheels look better and have more tire options, but.... your choice. 5mm spacer in black available from OPMustang.com if needed.

This may or may not help. I'm running LMR 350R wheels 19x10 +35 with BMR performance springs and 275/40ZR19 MPSS on all four corners.

Lowered on Eibach Pro Springs (springs should be well settled, installed 3 years ago)

Car feels planted when driving, recently took it through the Tail of the Dragon and it handled great. Tires also felt solid going through Newfound Gap in the Smoky Mountains in the rain.
No Fitment issues that i know of however probably couldn't go any lower without rubbing given the current offset.

20x10 +42 with 275/35 NT555 G2s all around

These wheels are TruForm TF104, look even better on the car than I had imagined.

20x10 +45 offset and lowered on sportlines? What size tires can I fit all around and not rub? 305/35, 305/30, 295/30, 285/35, 285/30?

Ideally I want the meatiest tire I can run, both in width and sidewall BUT sitting flush with fenders. Thanks!

i am looking to get a square set up and looking into wheels that are 19x10 et 35.

my question...is a 295/35/19 too wide for a 10 in wheel? and i suppose there will be slight poke in the rear and flush up front based on what I've seen with how 285s fit.

and Im also assuming if 10 is too narrow then 10.5 would be better but ill need extended studs?

Thanks for any help

tires I'm looking at are MPS4S
