Yeah, although I'm not sure if there are other revisions of the screen for even later models. I just know that the one I was able to get a hold of had just 2 plugs on the back with the gray OBD II connector, where mine has the black connector, and 3 ports on the back.
I wasn't able to source one from any manufacturers. The LCD display company I reached out to with pictures and measurements said that it looked like a custom component and that they didn't have anything that was like it.
I did post a searching for ad in a mustang parts swap FB group in my state...
Even looking over that product page, they list several different pin counts. Also the one they have pictured isn't touchscreen. I appreciate you trying though.
I posted pics of the unit dismantled... I've searched Google with the part numbers on the display's connector and it returned nothing. I've also searched Google for 2.4" resistive tft touch screens. Which as you said, there are plenty. The problem is the connector size and pin count is unique...
I reached out to them, they said they no longer carry it. It is surprisingly hard to find a touch screen tft display that uses a 51pin .3mm pitch fpc connector. Most of what I can find is 40 pin, at .5mm pitch. I did reach out to crystalfontz who appears to specialize in different LCD screens...
Anyone know what type of screen the nGauge uses? My screen is cracked, touch function still works but I can only see half the screen. Someone had posted an eBay listing to a replacement screen several years back however that listing no longer exists.
I've got my nGauge taken apart, and can see...
Literally about to do this exact thing with my 2015 GT Auto with a 3.15. The diff should be here Friday. Did you use the flange that came on the diff to connect to your driveshaft? How bad was taking the half shafts and everything else off to get diff swapped? What gear oil did you go with?
Over here you're able to order them with a custom offset. One of the forum wheel guys could likely help you get what you need. Josh with getyourwheels got me hooked up and I was able to place an order for the tires through another online site and have them delivered to their warehouse where he...
I'm trying to avoid installing a completely new kit. Ideally I'd like to just replace the gas struts and utilize the existing hardware from the mrt kit.
4 years ago I purchased a set of MRT no drill hood struts. Fast forward to today. My hood struts are no longer able to support my hood. MRT's "lifetime limited warranty" (stated on their site) turns out to be only a 1 year warranty. They're willing to sell me replacement struts, however I'd...
i'm also running with a 285/35/20 setup. Wheels are 20x10 ET35 Lowered on Eibach Pro springs and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. No issues that i can tell.
Stance SF07 20x10 +35
Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 285/35/20
Lowered on Eibach Pro Springs (springs should be well settled, installed 3 years ago)
Car feels planted when driving, recently took it through the Tail of the Dragon and it handled great. Tires also felt solid going through Newfound Gap in...
Never heard of hydraulic loctite, I'll have to look into that. I'll give the threads some thread lock though. I was debating on drilling a small hole through the sway bar to put a bolt through to use as a lateral lock if all else fails.
I recently installed the Whiteline rear sway bar and endlinks kit. After a few miles on there has begun to be a lot of clunking coming from the back. Looking at it, it appears the sway bar is shifting laterally, quite a bit causing the end link to make contact with the spring. I've got the...
Pardon my ignorance, but I'm curious as to what this in relation to a sync 3 swap? I currently have a 2015 premium worth mft (sync 2 I believe) and would like sync 3
