I have an original 1964 Worlds Fair plate on my '65 and since they only issued a back plate in NY in '64-65, legally I am not required to have a front plate since it is registered as historical with an original plate. Here is my '65 from the back:Congrats on the car!
I'm just on the other side of the state line in CT and work in Danbury and Stamford and have only seen one in the wild. A magnetic GT with no PP at the Danbury mall with NY plates.
Many years ago I had a fox body in fire engine red and it attracted too much attention, so I decided to go with a more subtle color this time, especially since this will be my daily driver.
I see no one has a front plate... is that causing any issues?
And from the front while visiting some relatives:
As far as my 2015 is concerned, I bought a bracket from Craig's Custom Mustang Brackets and it's just been too damn cold to put it on. The 2015 isn't coming out until the weather breaks anyway. I made it very clear to my dealer long before the car arrived that I didn't want my front bumper drilled. I want my front plate on because I got these custom plates and I want to show them off from the front and back.
And the bracket I bought for the front from http://ccmustangbrackets.com/welcome-to-craigs-custom-mustang-brackets/:
