Just converted my car to an auto and I am taking it to the track to see how much slower it was is before bolting Paxton on. Only difference is auto and no jlt or e85. Car has long tubes, 3.73 gear and Lund tune. I will be on 19" drag radials. Car went 11.6 with stick on drag radials. My guess is 11.9.

Depends on the converter but you may go faster........ thats alot of gear in 1st gear, so you'll have challenges.

What challenges do you speak of. I assume that you are talking about traction. It is kind of funny that people on this forum are on both sides of the fence. Stock converter is a dog out of the hole and steep gears will have traction issues. I am only taking my drag radials so i hope the hook.

I am taking the car to MIR midnight madness tonight. It is 20 bucks to run in a class. I have to decide on the 11.99 and quicker or 12.00 and slower.

Yeah I should get a few test passes but I am sure my car is right on the border. as the night cools down it should be faster. Hopefully it will run an 11.8 or quicker out of the gate.

1st gear is really low with the 6r80, and with the 3.73 its going to be insane. MIR is a well preped track. My car shifts at 40 mph, 82mph and 116mph. Im not sure of your supporting mods you have but my car makes peak power at 6500 or so with the stock intake manifold. I'm in Maryland and its warm out today. Not being on "fuel", and the stock intake manifold. Makes you more knock friendly, and I think you'll run 12s. I only get 24-25 degrees of timing on 93. However, I hope you run a 11 second pass. I'm curious to see how you will perform. My car is a dog with the stock stall and full weight. On the street and street tires, it works. Your car has bolt ons, but what kind? My bast 60ft on the stock tores was a 1.77 and it spun a little. I cant do it on the 19s.

My car has a lund tune and ARH long tube headers. I will be on 19" NT05R drag radials. I guess we will see how it runs. I have a paxton to go on it but I want to get a baseline. If I get a 1.77 60ft it should go 11s easy.

You have the 3.73s but then a stock converter...Really hard to say. I think your mph will be 118-120 after you figure out how to get it out of the hole. I think your ET stays about the same. I'd be shocked if you don't break into the 1.6x 60' with the steep 1st gear combo with the 3.73 rear...SHOCKED!
