Well the prices have gone up, makes me feel happier with the MY17 due to pick up 01 Apr:

Price when ordered 24 Jun: £37,205
Price 19 Jan: £37,925
Price today: £38,825.

That's for a Manual GT, RR, with all extras not custom. Interesting the options have not gone up in price just the car.
Options when ordered £2,180, today: £2,180....
I am already £1,620 saving over list:thumbsup: Although the wait is now killing me.:frusty:

That is creeping up isn't it - another hike and that tax bracket will be broken - then there will be some very specific cars running around with "cheap" tax...

I'm quite happy I paid £36k for mine - I doubt I'd have paid £39k even though, in reality, it's kinda moot.

Only a few weeks to go!

Wow!

Mine was a tad over £34k when picked up a year ago. GT with Sat Nav and parking sensors.

Had mine serviced this week and there was an Ecoboost in the showroom for the same price I paid for my GT.

When the prices were announced originally back in 2015, I had to put down a deposit despite not needing a new car as I thought what a bargain.

Not looking quite a bargain now and I bet the 2018 will hike the price a lot more.

I suppose it depends what you compare it to, it still looks like a bargain when compared to an M2 and especially an M4 where you're looking at an extra 20k.

Make the 31k I dropped look like a bargain, go on ford, keep rising the prices, just helps residuals ;)!

By the time the MY21 comes out, they'll be £150k

Do other marques/models rise this quickly? I have no other new car buying experience.
Over 10% increase in two years.

Hi there

As rumoured Ford increased the pricing again on the Mustang. So the car I paid £35,385 for last January one year ago is now selling for:

Ford are still refusing to do discounts on cars and those selling stock cars second hand with 20k or less miles are fetching around 35k.

Absolutely fantastic, zero depreciation due to limited supply and Ford constantly increasing pricing. I was expecting to lose 5k-10k after 1-2yr ownership with it being a brand new car, so this is pretty epic. :)

Good to see some dealerships offering to do certain stuff. :)

Eibach Pro kit springs are very good, pretty much spot on ride height and stance.

Its a good day when the like of webuyanycar and similar are offering over 30k for a GT. Looks like a better steal everyday the prices go up!

(& Gibbo205 ) couldn't agree more, been a somewhat worthwhile 'investment' at the minute. Actually selling them is another question, but there's plenty out there that want them ;)! Especially one with proper fking tyres which IMO is probably the biggest selling point of anyone wishing to sell their MY15/16/17 for a MY18 and has MPSS on it.

My first American car bought about 2 years ago was a 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis.

Paid £3000, drove for nearly a year and sold on for £4500.

A huge gas guzzler which cost me nothing to run :D

Always hoped that this Mustang would be a 'sensible' buy. Well that's what I keep telling my ex wife lol.
