We don't make a 2.3L kit, we have a 2.9L which allows the SC to run 40% slower speeds to stay in it's main efficiency range throughout the entire operating range longer, taking less HP to operate and creating less heat.
We've made all types of SC versions and many others have, the upside down design heat soaks more. This is not new information.

Do you have any statistical information on the heat soak issue? I've never seen a Whipple upside-down design.

On the other hand, my wallet is telling me to buy a very lightly used Mustang GT/PP for about $33,000 and put $8,500 into a supercharger including the install costs. Saw the new Edelbrock S/C in person at Edelbrock's Car Show on Saturday and it is an impressive unit - it was installed into a red GT. They said they've gotten several requests for a strut tower brace that will fit and they thought that Brenspeed was already working on one for this particular install.

There is a YouTube video of a 2016 gt with the edelbrock on the dyno put down like 610rwhp and 540ish ft lbs if I remember correctly

I would go with the roush honestly. Roush is a proven SC and has a lot of room to grow. Last time that I checked, you can get a stage 1 roush kit for $6300 shipped.
