Why the fuck are people still discussing the front end? This was beat to death ad nauseam in February. Did the unveiling of Roush's shit show design re-ignite the inner automotive designer in everyone?
It's different. The 15-17 looked great so that made it a tough act to follow. The trouble is that the '18 is similar enough that you naturally hone in on the specific changes and compare them one to one with the similar element from the earlier models.

The '18 comes out poorly comparing them that way because a lot of those '17 elements are cleaner and more pretty. The zaggy running and tail lights on the '18 are just cheesy surface excitement when looked at specifically, but overall they add to a fresh look that is more dynamic and aggressive.

Like it or not, there's a clear desire for that in the market.

"perfectly well" :headbonk:
It's the same bad aligned dropping hood that the prefl model had.

Here's another video of a 2018 at a dealership:
This pic demonstrates exactly what I'm saying, it's aligned, but it looks like that because the curvature changed and tricks your eyes to think it's not aligned.

If you don't believe me, just take a strip of paper, fold it downwards once, then look at the part folded downwards, see if that part looks wider than the part that is still flat.

I guess, Ford has just substantially reduced sales of aftermarket axle back/cat back exhausts, in one hit.

That would only be true if the tires were the same width. A 295/35/19 is about the same overall diameter as a 255/40/19.
Uhhhhhhh no.

First of all, you're comparing what's likely to be the rear size of the PP2 with the front size of the PP.

PP rear = 275/40/19 = 27.7" diameter

295/35/19 = 27.1" diameter

Not huge differences, but they're smaller and you definitely see it in person. I liked the wheel gap on my PP before I got a 285/35/19 square setup, now I think it needs to come down half an inch. And I don't like lowered cars.

Uhhhh, what?

I made a simple example of how the aspect ratio(mistakenly called profile by the person I quoted) can be different even with the same overall tire diameter. So my post is still absolutely correct.
