It's different. The 15-17 looked great so that made it a tough act to follow. The trouble is that the '18 is similar enough that you naturally hone in on the specific changes and compare them one to one with the similar element from the earlier models.Why the fuck are people still discussing the front end? This was beat to death ad nauseam in February. Did the unveiling of Roush's shit show design re-ignite the inner automotive designer in everyone?
The '18 comes out poorly comparing them that way because a lot of those '17 elements are cleaner and more pretty. The zaggy running and tail lights on the '18 are just cheesy surface excitement when looked at specifically, but overall they add to a fresh look that is more dynamic and aggressive.
Like it or not, there's a clear desire for that in the market.
