Magnetic Strap is nice, but has vulnerable areas for wear and tear.

Was it an intern that designed the front of the new stang? I know for sure it wasn't designed by that same guy that designed the 2015. They went for straight lines and sharp edges on the 2018 compared to the 2015 that had more curves and organic lines.

I think that there were three designers.

Lighting designer
Grill Designer
Bumper cover designer

The only issue is that none of them got to see the other's work until it was finished.

Got a call from my dealer today and he told me to expect Thanksgiving-Christmas delivery, but the real reason he called was to let me know they had a 2018 come in with a re from Ford for training. I was able to take a quick lunch and run over there to take a look. Only got to see it for about 5 mins but it looked great and I personally loved the design change especially when lined up next to a 2017. I didn't get to see the digital dash in any real action but it was really sunny after an afternoon shower and the dash didn't look faded out under near direct sunlight. It sounded great, but I didn't get to hear the active exhaust as they had gone over that before I showed up.

The thing is that the actual concept looked pretty damn good. But somehow a lot was changed to the final model:

Just compare how flat and boring the hood is in the final car

I have a feeling that the concept will be closer to what the S650 will be, with some minor tweaks.

To me those first 2 actually look worse and way to aggressive.

As someone that hasnt likes any of the body styles from 2005-2014 I'd be really disappointed to not like them again after liking the 15-17 so much.

Hated that spoiler in the 15-17 PP and still hate it. I would opt for the delete or swap to a nice ducktail/GT500 spoiler

LMFAO Too funny Jeff.
I would add Hood Designer as well. That hood looks hideous with those style vents. :headbonk:

I HATE most automotive concept art. All of it comes out looking like this, with a ridiculous high waistline and slit windows. Concept art like this is what's wrong with the Camaro. Instead of toning it down a touch for production GM actually went out and built the concept art.

And it really sucks, just sit in one and you will get the picture.
