Your off on the engines. The possibility of a new Mach1 is high. This 5.2 SC could be going in it. But as far as the 5.2 in the Flagship, no, it I is too "green pea" to put under the hood of Fords Flagship. Also, according to the GT350 Drivetrain Engineers, the 5.2 is only safe upto about 700 crank hp. After that it's at ones own risk. The next GT500/Cobra will be 755-775 hp and will be a de-tuned 5.0 TT Cobra jet motor most likely. Especially even more now that Dodges halo car has stolen the stage. But the new hot mustang will be far superior to the 95% 1/4 mi track only Demon. It'll be an everyday car, track car and 1/4 monster in one. It'll be 3700-3800 lbs which is 500 lbs lighter than the 808 hp Demon, therefore it won't need technically over 750 hp to out gun a Demon on the street, if owners of said Dodge are dumb enough to drive on the street. And yes, the showroom Demins are 808 hp. One must fork over 5-10k more for the Demon kit to get all the extra goodies and 840 hp ECU. It'll be a 85-90k car plus the extra go-fast kit and then mark up. It'll be a $105-115k car, according to a friend /Mgr at a Dodge store near me.My guess:
GT - 5.0 NA (confirmed)
Mach 1 - 5.2 NA CPC
GT500/Cobra - 5.2 FI CPC
7.0 - No way
