I was driving along and saw light smoke coming out the back, so pulled over when I could get onto a quieter road. Looked under the car and saw oil pouring out and the coolant has dropped from max to min, but luckily engine temp was normal. Currently waiting for the RAC :(

EDIT:

Here's a few pics from last night

The actual build date was Nov 2015.

looks to be more oil on the passenger side of the engine.

Luckily I work next to Ford, just hope they don't moan about the mods.

If it's the oil cooler it should be a known fault and nothing to do with mods.
Bad luck. Hope its a quick fix for you :(

100% oil cooler. Should be a quick fix. Make sure you let them know exactly what you know. It needs flushing A LOT it will need a new coolant tank as it's probably stained. You should have the car back and repaired by Friday at the very latest. If they need pointers tell them to speak to Paul at Hendy Eastleigh and ask them about Mr Leeks car

Your oil cooler has failed, seems similar fashion to mine, where it just mainly drops the engine oil on the road, there could still be minor coolant contamination but nothing major. In short ask for:

- New oil cooler and gasket installed (2 days max to order now)
- Fresh oil change, new oil and new filter
- A full coolant system flush as per Ford guidelines (special cleaner for our engine that Ford have very few typical at given time but can get it within a day.
- New coolant
- Full clean of the underside and pressure wash and brake cleaner the hell out of subframe and underside of car.

Hope they turn it around fast.

There's oil everywhere, mostly under the car and up the boot, with sum on the passenger side of the engine bay.

Still got another 40 mins till the tow truck is here, luckily I'm only about 10 mins from Ford.

Wind blows it everywhere, how much oil on the dip stick level?

Come on Andy Barratt this is too much. A known faulty batch, multiple failures, potential for engine fire, road and tyre contamination possibly causing an accident and probable engine damage. Why no recall?
